The 2027 Tohatsu 25 HP MFS25DETS Outboard Motor is a lightweight, high-performance 4-stroke EFI outboard engineered to deliver dependable power, outstanding fuel efficiency, and smooth operation for recreational and commercial boating. Powered by a 500cc three-cylinder engine, the MFS25DETS features advanced Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology, providing fast, reliable starting, responsive throttle control, and exceptional fuel economy. As one of the lightest 25 HP outboards in its class, it offers an excellent power-to-weight ratio for aluminum fishing boats, jon boats, inflatables, skiffs, utility boats, and small workboats.

The MFS25DETS is equipped with electric and manual start, a 15-inch short shaft, and Power Trim & Tilt, allowing effortless engine adjustment for improved performance, shallow-water operation, and easier launching. This model can be configured with a basic tiller handle, multi-function tiller handle, or remote control, providing flexibility to match a variety of boat layouts. A 12V, 210W (17.5A) high-output charging system comes standard, supplying ample power for onboard electronics while maintaining battery charge. Advanced cross-flow induction, an optimized 2.17:1 gear ratio, and variable idle speed control ensure excellent low-end torque, smooth acceleration, and efficient cruising performance.

Designed for long-lasting reliability, the MFS25DETS features a through-the-propeller exhaust for quieter operation, a thermostatically controlled cooling system, a built-in freshwater flushing system, a no-mess canister-style oil filter with drip tray, a tool-free clear fuel filter with water separator, start-in-gear protection, over-rev limiter, audible and visual overheat and low oil pressure warnings, and corrosion-resistant marine-grade aluminum construction.
