The 2027 Tohatsu MFS9.8CEFL EFI Outboard Motor delivers modern fuel-injected performance in a lightweight, portable package. Its battery-less Electronic Fuel Injection system provides consistent starting, stable idling, responsive acceleration, and efficient fuel delivery without requiring battery power to operate the EFI system.
A compact 209cc two-cylinder four-stroke engine produces smooth, quiet power with reduced vibration. The MFS9.8CEFL configuration features a 20-inch long shaft, electric starting with manual recoil backup, ergonomic tiller steering, and a reliable manual tilt system.
The front-mounted Forward–Neutral–Reverse shift lever keeps essential controls within easy reach. Six trim positions and shallow-water drive provide flexibility for fishing, docking, and navigating changing water depths. An improved center of gravity reduces manual tilting effort, while the redesigned carrying handle makes transportation more comfortable.
