The compact color control head simultaneously displays the vessel’s actual heading, selected course, and rudder angle. Its intuitive four-button interface makes course selection, system setup, and steering-mode changes quick and straightforward.
A high-precision 9-axis electronic gyro compass helps the autopilot respond effectively to changing sea conditions. The included rudder feedback unit continuously monitors the rudder’s actual position, providing accurate steering corrections and reliable performance for inboard boats with hydraulic steering.
Through its NMEA 0183 interface, the SP120C can receive GPS speed, course, waypoint, and route information from a compatible chartplotter. This enables the autopilot to steer toward selected waypoints or follow an active route automatically.
