Enjoy more comfortable and accurate steering with the Si-Tex SP120C-RF-3 Color Autopilot for Type S Dash Drive. This complete package is designed for smaller powerboats with compatible mechanical push-pull cable steering and a standard straight steering shaft.

The Type S drive replaces the existing manual rotary helm behind the dashboard, providing a clean installation with the drive motor, clutch, and rudder-feedback capability concealed behind the helm.

Compact Color Autopilot Display

The compact 110 × 110 mm control head features an easy-to-read color LCD. It simultaneously displays actual compass heading, selected heading, operating mode, and rudder-angle information.

Primary components connect directly to the rear of the control head, eliminating the need for a separate junction box and simplifying system installation.

Type S Mechanical Dash Drive

The included Type S drive is designed for straight-shaft mechanical steering systems. It accepts Morse 304411 and Teleflex SSC52 rotary steering cables directly. Other compatible cable types may require an optional adapter.

The drive produces up to 300 pounds of cable push/pull and is intended for smaller powerboats whose steering loads remain within the manufacturer’s specified limits.

Accurate 9-Axis Compass

A high-performance 9-axis electronic rate gyro compass supplies accurate heading and motion information. This helps the autopilot respond to vessel movement and changing sea conditions while maintaining a smooth, consistent course.

Course detection accuracy of less than one degree supports precise heading control.

GPS and Chartplotter Navigation

The NMEA 0183 GPS interface accepts navigation data from compatible chartplotters. GPS Mode can automatically steer toward a selected waypoint or follow a programmed route.

Speed Over Ground and Course Over Ground data can also improve autopilot performance. NMEA 0183 compass-heading output supports compatible multifunction displays and radar/chart-overlay systems.
