Its Virtual Feedback technology calculates steering movement without requiring a conventional rudder-feedback sensor in compatible outboard applications. This simplifies installation while maintaining responsive and dependable course control.

Compact Color Control Head

The compact 110 × 110 mm control head features an easy-to-read color LCD that simultaneously presents the vessel’s actual compass heading, selected heading, and rudder-angle information.

All primary system connections attach directly to the rear of the control head, eliminating the need for a separate junction box and reducing installation complexity.

High-Performance 9-Axis Compass

A 9-axis electronic rate gyro compass supplies accurate heading and motion information to the autopilot. This helps the SP120C respond efficiently to changing sea conditions and maintain a smoother, more consistent course.

The system provides course detection accuracy of less than one degree and supports selectable steering adjustments for different vessel characteristics.

GPS and Chartplotter Integration

Connect a compatible GPS or chartplotter through the NMEA 0183 interface to use Speed Over Ground and Course Over Ground data. The autopilot can then steer toward selected waypoints or follow programmed routes.

NMEA 0183 compass-heading output is also available for compatible multifunction displays and radar/chart-overlay applications.
